Borinquen Community Federal Credit Union, is a non-profit financial institution directed by its members. BCFCU was founded on June 22, 1951 at former Ramey Air Force Base for military and civilian personnel. At present time, the BCFCU serves the Aguadilla Community and had over 500 members. Member shares are insured up to $100,000 by National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). The institution pays its members dividends on a quarterly basis.


This is the Credit Union that will meet the financial needs to its members.

MISSION

To provide its members with a place to save and a source of credit at reasonable rates to assist them in meeting their financial needs, as well as other types of services commensurate with its expertise and resources.

To anticipate the necessities of our partners with our continuous involvement in our community.

Board of Directors

The Credit Union's Board of Directors is charged with overseeing the operations of the Credit Union and setting goals that would like to see the Management and Staff accomplish. The Board is comprised of volunteers that are elected by the members of the Credit Union, at the annual meeting. The Board also has the responsibility of appointing the Supervisory Committee.
